We are deeply sad to announce the passing of Dr. Carlo Moiraghi, a great colleague and friend.
Carlo was a brilliant man, with a great mind and soul, a pioneer of Medicine with real passion for Chinese Medicine particularly.
He served as President of the Lombard Association of Medical Acupuncturists (ALMA), teaching a multitude of medical acupuncturists for more than 30 years.
He also lectured in various Italian universities and collaborated with ICMART in connection with the related techniques of Tàijíquán and Qìgōng.
Among his publications, there are translations of Chinese classics and more than a dozen of culture and traditional medicine texts.
Not known to many, he volunteered with AGOM (Acupuncture in the World) healing the underprivileged in India, Timor Leste, Philippines and regions affected by disasters.
His eyes were always shining, his heart warm and his mind open to all discussions.
He will be remembered by the world medical acupuncture community as one of the most generous, involved and forward-thinking factors of his time.
