Konstantina Theodoratou after completing her medical degree at the University of Athens and practising Western Medicine as a family doctor, went to China to study Αcupuncture in Tianjin and Beijing Universities. She further deepened her studies in Guangzhou (Canton) University where she obtained her MSc in Acupuncture. She has also specialised in Medical Psychology, Addiction Counseling, Neuroscience and Psychological diseases at the University of Athens. In 2016, she has been awarded from the University of Athens for her interdisciplinary experience.

Dr. Tomas Dawid completed his Medical Studies at the Faculty of Medicine of Montevideo, Uruguay, graduating in 1984. He continued Postgraduate Studies in Internal Medicine for three years and practiced Western Medicine during more than 25 years.
He has three Specialist Qualifications in Public Health Services Management and Blood Bank Management
He graduated in Superior Courses of Traditional Acupunture in 1986, according to the Program of the Nanjing University of Chinese Medicine, with Prof. Wang Yu in Argentina, and graduated in Medical Homeopathy according to the Program of the Liga Medicorum Homoeopathica Internationalis (LMHI).
He has also completed several Superior Studies in Western Contemporary Neurofunctional Acupunture.
Since 1995, he held Managerial positions in the National Health Service, and since 2009 as a Director in a Regional Blood Bank in Punta del Este.

Thomas Burgoon, MD is the past president of the American Academy of Medical Acupuncture (AAMA) the largest organization of physicians practicing acupuncture in the United States. He is Associate Editor-in Chief of the World Journal of Acupuncture and Moxibustion, member of editorial board of Medical Acupuncture, chairperson of the Institutional Review Board of the New York College of Traditional Chinese Medicine, and advisor on acupuncture for Unite for Her (www.uniteforher.org). He graduated from medical school at Vanderbilt University in 1985 and competed residency training in internal medicine. He began studying acupuncture theory and practice in 1992 and studied with Anita Cignolini of Milan, Italy for 11 years and four years with the New York College of Traditional Chinese Medicine (NYCTCM). Dr. Francisco Lozano is a Professor of Traditional Chinese Medicine, Acupuncture and Moxibustion at the National Polytechnic Institute’s School of Medicine and Homeopathy in Mexico City. He has more than 35 years of experience in the study, clinical practice, research and education of acupuncture in traditional Chinese medicine and acupuncture.
Dr. Lozano studied Chinese medicine in China at Beijing University of Chinese Medicine and in Japan at Osaka Medical College’s Pain Clinic & Oriental Medicine department from 1981 to 1988. In 2011, earned a doctorate degree in Traditional Chinese Medicine from Beijing University of Chinese Medicine.
Dr. Lozano has pioneered the formal education and official regulation of Acupuncture for physicians in Mexico.
For more than 20 years has coordinated the academic exchange with China, through the China-Mexico bi-national agreement for technical and scientific cooperation.
He has work intensively in the study and research of the physiopathology of several chronic illnesses and in the integration of Western and Chinese Medicine.
Currently, he is the coordinator of clinical practice, education and research of acupuncture at the Center for Attention and Integral Support of the National Cancer Institute in Mexico.
