The author has summarized his experiences of more than 20 years with the acupunc-ture treatment of allergic rhinitis with the conclusion, that the acupuncture is suitable not only for the treatment, but also for the prevention of allergic rhinitis.
Recently, his observations are also supported by the performed scientific studies (in-crease of several lymphocyte subpopulation: CD3+ T cells, CD4+ T cells, change in cytokine concentration, IL-6, IL-8 etc.).
